The ROKA Maverick ProMax wetsuit is the newest—and biggest ever—upgrade to the game-changing Maverick Pro, engineered for maximum buoyancy, warmth, and comfort.
Our ROKA Multisport designers are Stanford All-American swimmers obsessed with shaving time in the water. They wanted to make a suit that feels like the hand of Poseidon is guiding swimmers into the perfect position to PR: hips and legs up, with the core supported for a fast, “downhill” swim. After extensive research and testing, they nailed it with the new Maverick ProMax wetsuit.
This one’s for the hip-sinkers. And the shiverers. The triathletes who know they’d crush the swim with better body position, set up for max speed and efficiency with every stroke.
Read on to discover how the ProMax can help unlock your full potential.

Engineered to Cut Drag from Sinking Hips
Simply put, when hips sink, they produce more drag. Do you swim faster with a pull buoy than without one? Chances are you’re a hip sinker. Not to worry: The Maverick ProMax is made to work better than your favorite pool buoy.
The suit is like a second-skin that pops up your legs and hips, while encouraging natural body rotation. So your hips should feel snappier, while maxing out your power transfer on every stroke. All with zero compromise on flexibility and comfort.
How did we work this magic? Our patented RS2™ Centerline Buoyancy profile puts a 5mm panel down the center of your body, tapering buoyancy around the sides. All of the lift (and warmth!) where you need it, none where you don’t. So you can rotate freely while staying high in the water.
In short: It’s like having a pull buoy built right into your suit.
Keeps your Core Warm for Peak Performance
Cold water doesn’t just make you chilly, it can also slow you down. When you’re cold, your body diverts blood from your limbs to your core to stay warm, so your arm and leg muscles get less blood flow and oxygen. That can lead to fatigue, stiffening, and cramping.
So if you’re super chilly, you probably won’t perform your best. A simple fix: Keep your core warm.
That Centerline Buoyancy tech and the new Yamamoto™ neoprene we used through the body and arms in the ProMax add lift and insulation to keep your core cozy and efficient. Whether you trend chilly, or are targeting a colder swim, the ProMax has your back.
Designed for Shoulder Freedom
Full-sleeved wetsuits tend to have one fatal flaw: they restrict shoulder movement, causing muscle fatigue from fighting against the rubber.
That’s because most designers make patterns with the arms down. It makes sense most of the time. When you’re standing, sitting, or running, your arms are usually down. But swimming, your arms are mostly up, catching water above your head.
So we threw out convention to create our patented ARMS-UP™ Construction. All of our wetsuits feel natural throughout the entire stroke, including the ProMax. Nothing else comes close.
Core Support that Boosts Efficiency
When your core poops out, you squiggle like a snake in the water. That’s not fast! Like a gentle hand pressing against your lower back to correct your posture, the Maverick ProMax helps hold your core in an optimal position, supporting it to help prevent fatigue.
How did we achieve this feat? We focused on the interior liner. It’s not the sexiest part of the suit, but when competitors skimp on it, you’ll feel it.
We go all in on liners with unique compositions and orientations. Our advanced interior liner system lets us do two things: First, it optimizes how the suit feels against your skin. Comfy. Buttery. Next, it allows us to fine-tune core support exactly where you need it, without feeling restrictive.
Nobody likes a wetsuit to feel tight in the chest. But a gentle and effective position corrector that lets you breathe easy? Yes, please.
