FIT TIPS
- Neoprene wetsuits will be slightly looser in the water. Even if your suit feels tight on land, it may feel right in the water.
- Neoprene can stretch a little bit more when warmed up.
- If you fit more than one size, sizing down will give you a tight fit and you should expect to take 10-12 minutes to put the suit on properly.
- The suit should feel tight, but if it constricts your breathing or restricts shoulder movement in the water, then you need to size up.
- Expect to have someone help you zip the suit up. Needing help with the zipper is a sign of a performance fit.

"First, I was sent the wrong size, then sent the correct size, it was 1.5 inches smaller than my existing roka wetsuit. I ended up having to go up two sizes and weigh the same. Don't trust the charts"
Comfortable but arrived with nicks
"Overall it is comfortable and the size is correct. I ended up with a ML. 5’2” 140#, 35” bust 27” waist 38” hips. It is snug and has a compressive but not uncomfortable fit. I probably could be a size larger as well if you don’t want the compression. Bag and gloves are nice. Only issue was when I got it there was a nick in the hip area about the size of a pinky. If that’s what happens in shipping I’d say treat it delicately and always always use the gloves!"

"My initial impression when I opened the package was that the suit looked really small. I am actually within the range for an XS, but suddenly, I am having trouble breathing in a wetsuit that is too tight. I am a swimmer and have not had this issue until the last couple of years. I have been in the water with this suit 1x so far and it was extremely flexible and did not constrict my breathing. It is the right size for me. I chose to replace my wetsuits with ROKA's suits because they supposedly manufacture the suits to promote easier breathing. So far, I think it's true! I have also met at least three other women in my age group who have complained of similar issues in wetsuits, with one even wearing the same suit I have worn for years (two versions with the last one being 4 years old). I have spoken to Dr. Max Testa about this issue if you want any more information that might make the suit appealing to more women with my issue. I also have a ProMax Long Sleeve suit. My purchases from ROKA total $1000 this summer!"
Sooooo tight around the neck but felt great in the water!
"Ok so I went with a ML based off the size chart. 5’4” around 138lbs. This wetsuit is very difficult to get on and I need help zipping it up. It is ridiculously tight around the neck HOWEVER with all that being said - it really did feel great in the lake today. Is it a workout to put on and take off? Yes. Does it feel great in the water? Also yes. My only real complaint is the tight neck. The rest of the suit feels amazing on. I find these wetsuits on the very high end of the price range but I’m hoping it will last me quite some time and get me through my first IM!"
