Optimized For A swimskin is a thin, compressive suit designed to be worn over a triathlon kit
for warm water swims where wetsuits are not allowed.
Patented Arms-Up™ Technology Our patented Arms-Up™ design means the suit "wants" your arms raised above shoulder level, rather than hanging down at the side. This makes the recovery phase of your freestyle easier, resulting in less fatigue in a long race
IXI™ Streamline Support Taping Patented IXI™ core support taping streamlines your body and connects your hips to your shoulders for better rotation. Reinforces proper posture in the water, which is especially beneficial in longer races where your body line tends to break down
Lower Back Core Compression Zone An updated lower back panel provides enhanced core compression, better support and improved posture in the water. It also reduces the bubbling effect of the fabric in the small of your back to eliminate drag
YKK Auto-lock Zipper YKK #3 semi-autolock zipper with low drag, reverse coil zipper tape - no lanyard needed
Meets World Triathlon Standards for Non-Wetsuit Swims

"I tried to get into the open water timely, but there were riptides and 3-5 foot swells before the 14 day return period. After 16 days, I was able to swim half mile in the open water and I had no discomfort. I did swim 8 seconds faster per 100 yards, but I don't know if that was the sweep or the swim skin. Racing in Miami, FL on 11/9. That will be the test."
"As a muscular female, I always want a review to tell me if I can fit in something. Here’s what I got for you. Go with Roka sizing suggestion. I’m 5’6” 155lbs. Muscular broad shoulders and thick thighs and hips. I normally wear a Large bottom, medium tops in a variety of brands. With this swim skin I got an XL and it’s perfect just as Roka suggested. I did go sleeveless which helped. Nice and tight as it should be, takes a little working over my hips and buttock but it fits like a glove! Keep in mind, there is no string for the zipper which is no issue when taking it off as it comes down easily. However, you need help zipping it up to get it on. I can’t by myself but in a race setting you’ll have plenty of people to help you. Performance wise it does what it’s going to do. Not meant to float you so don’t expect that. It’s not a wetsuit. Keeps the drag low, repels the water and I barely know I have it on. Plan to wear this in a full Ironman this month and so far in IM distance swims I think the extra core/back support is helpful. If you’re on the fence, I think it’s worth it to feel confident in your swim without a wetsuit."
