  • Improved materials—using the most premium Yamamoto neoprene and liners for increased comfort and buoyancy.

Uses interior IXI™ core taping and strategically placed liners to stiffen the suit and connect your hips to your shoulders—maximizing power transfer and stability in the water. So your stroke feels easier and more effective.

ZERO SHOULDER RESTRICTION

By patterning the wetsuit with the arms above the head, our patented ARMS-UP™ design eliminates shoulder restriction to help you swim faster with less fatigue.

MORE NATURAL ROTATION

Our patented RSX™ centerline buoyancy creates a snappier side-to-side rotation and eliminates dead spots in the freestyle.

KICK OUT FASTER

The quick-release ankle panels of our suits use a 2mm panel at the base of the leg to help you kick your heel out of the suit in T1.

FEEL THE WATER

Ultralight stretch-woven material at the cuff of each arm enhances tactile feedback to increase your feel for the water.

These size charts are a guide. Once you get your suit, please try it on.

FIT TIPS

  • Neoprene wetsuits will be slightly looser in the water. Even if your suit feels tight on land, it may feel right in the water.
  • Neoprene can stretch a little bit more when warmed up.
  • If you fit more than one size, sizing down will give you a tight fit and you should expect to take 10-12 minutes to put the suit on properly.
  • The suit should feel tight, but if it constricts your breathing or restricts shoulder movement in the water, then you need to size up.
  • Expect to have someone help you zip the suit up. Needing help with the zipper is a sign of a performance fit.
  • Use the pads of your fingers to avoid fingernail tears.

"I just got the Maverick X. 3 and it is awesome! The buoyancy is great, like swimming with pull buoys. I track all of my workouts, and from my initial test swim today, my interval times were a good 15% faster. With the full suit, I don't have any restriction in arm movement. As far as the size, I am 5'10", 155 lbs. I got a Medium and it fits great, true to size. I have had other brands of open water wetsuits in the past, and the Roka Maverick X. 3 is by far the best I have owned."

Great suit!

"My previous wetsuit always made me feel claustrophobic. Not this suit! Been swimming it in for about a month, and love it. The thinner mil around the upper body fits well but also lets you breath heavy with no restriction. The legs have a thicker mil design which helps with buoyancy on long swims. The design, the quality of material, are all exceptional! I’m super happy with my purchase and would recommend to others. Size- just over 6 foot tall, and weigh 175. I have a larger upper body and a thin waist- bought a ML. Thanks Roka!"

"Using the ROKA size chart worked out perfectly the suit feels great. The movement at the shoulders is better than any wet suit I have used before. Great Product, but size. . .

"I have used the wet suit in our pool a couple of times; water temp was 62 then next swim temp was 65. I ordered a large; Works great but I think I could have used a MT vs the large; I am in the middle of the two sizes and ordered up: issue for me is my shoulders width vs waist and weight. I would really like to see how the MT would fit. Recommend going MT vs L if you are in between the two sizes. Regardless of the size issue: super product!!"
